I'm not really a computer person. I'd rather be kayaking, mountain-biking or rollerblading than sitting behind a desk any day. That's why I started Strong Wings. Strong Wings is about giving kids the opportunity to explore their environment and teaching them how to appreciate the natural resources of Nantucket. |

Its about pushing yourself and experiencing the exhilaration of adventure. Strong Wings is about learning while exploring the harbors, beaches, moors, trails and forests of Nantucket Island and elsewhere. During the school year, Strong Wings programs provide a different classroom for island students, the Great Outdoors, where the value of teamwork becomes quickly apparent and physical prowess must work thoughtfully to succeed. One important value of the computer is the ability to communicate electronically. This web site is a great way for the world to learn about Strong Wings and what we have accomplished. I hope you will explore the site and learn more about our organization. Over the years our success has been great, but our goals for the future are greater still.
