Strong Wings' quest is to provide the opportunity for Nantucket's youth to experience nature and better understand their vital connection with it.

Strong Wings' staff generates the delivery of environmental and adventure-based education through individual programs designed to reach all school-age children residing in Nantucket.

The goal of each class is to create positive growth and imaginative thinking in every participating student by empowering him or her with direct attachment to their environment.

The development years of Strong Wings have clearly demonstrated that these experiences result in increased self-esteem, promotion of strengths, development of responsibility for actions and respect for the environment, in all of its students.

We will strive to encourage our students to become the environmental leaders that are needed for a healthy future.
