Q: What are the camp hours?

A: 9am to 4pm for bike camp (ages 8-15) 9:30am to 3:30pm for Van camp (ages 5-8)

Q: What is your rain or inclement weather policy?

A:Students should be dressed appropriately for the day’s conditions; a little bit of rain won’t slow us down!

In the event of the strong possibility for severe thunderstorms and/or rain, the determination may be made to cancel a day of camp. Severe weather poses significant safety concerns for our campers and staff. Strong Wings will give families as much notice as possible. No refunds will be offered.

Q: What is your refund and cancelation policy?

A: Although we make it a priority to be as flexible as possible, Strong Wings reserves the right to withhold deposits and/or full camp balances when cancelations are made after 6/1.

Q: How does Strong Wings manage food allergies and other related student health concerns?

A: Camp administration and staff are aware of all student conditions, as stated by parents in their registrations, and are trained and prepared to take necessary precautions to mitigate exposure to allergens etc. We ask that parents of students with special conditions or that require EpiPens speak with the camp Director when checking in and that EpiPens be given directly to camp staff by parents. We are not a nut-free camp.

Q: What are your swimming policies and procedures?

A: All swimming activities are conducted under the direct supervision of the Aquatics Director, Camp Director or Assistant Director. All group leaders responsible for children in the water are lifeguard certified. All swim activities take place in clearly marked, well-controlled areas in water shallow enough to stand. Swim tests will be conducted for 8 to 15 year-old students. Personal floatation devices are provided for 5 and 6 year old campers. We are extremely focused on water safety and teaching respect for the ocean.

Q: How can I check my balance and/or the weeks my child is enrolled for?

A: Log in to your Active account through the “Manage my Account” link on our website. You can add additional weeks and manage your balance through your active account. You can also access your account through your conformation email. Welcome to the future!
